Matt Goyer had an interview with Microsoft and Amazon and has blogged about his experiences. Very interesting reading and quite daunting – especially if you are not a programmer!

Just found that MobileRSS has a rss reader for PDA’s – will be useful to put on the axim as I’ve been wanting something like this for a long time and not found it yet. Will just have to wait until I get home until I try it out.
There has been an exploit posted with problems in Internet explorer where it looks like you are at one site (by looking at the address URL) but in actual fact you are somewhere else. Steve has an example exploit, which shows how easy it is do it, for example, click to see how I’ve done it for this page.
Absoblogginlutely.net to see how I’ve done it for this page.
This seems a pretty drastic flaw as that is often the only way you can check you really are where you think you are – Microsoft will probably have a patch out soon (I hope). For more details check out Security Focus or Secunia or the person who discovered it, Zap The Dingbat
Kristen has mentioned that sometimes I grumble too much on this site, normally about the lack of customer service I get! I’ve just found GrumbleText which publicises complaints about public companies and gives advice on consumer matters and rights – they have a good area on sms spam too.
Added 4 new caches to our list of Geocaches found – it was a fun afternoon, with the caches getting easier and easier as the afternoon wore on!
Found out that there are several UK Geocaching sites, Buxley’s Geocaching site, GeocacheUK, Geocaching Association of Great Britain, Chris & Maria’s links, Navicache and
the concert was pretty good last night. Had to queue up for 30 minutes to get inside the doors as the place was huge – the queue stretched for about two blocks and it was freezing cold outside. I wasn’t wearing a coat as I knew it would be hot inside. Once in there was a band playing already and I got to see/hear their last two songs before there was a break for the middle band. I didn’t think much of them, although the girl on my left did as she kept shrieking everytime they finished a song and everytime anyone referred to them from the stage. Relient K were pretty good when they eventually came on. I was nowhere near the stage (so no pictures) and I was glad I wasn’t in the mosh pit as there were so many crowd surfers – probably 5 or 6 at any one time. (although I did briefly consider it as a neat way to get to the front of the stage and then snap some pictures before the minders got me – but as pictures were officially banned I thought twice about doing it) I was also pretty impressed at how much audience participation there was, there were loads of people singing along to the songs, pretty loudly too which I thought was pretty good as I couldn’t understand half the words they were singing in the first place (must be getting old). It was a good night overall, not the best concert I’ve been to but pretty good.
UpdateJust realised I was spelling Relient wrong, and there was another blogger at the concert too!
Relient K are doing a gig tonight at Columbus’s Newport Theatre and I’m going to be there – I only really heard there stuff a couple of weeks ago but it’s pretty good so I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully I’ll get close enough to take some pictures
Some time ago we went to Blackpool for the day as we had never been before. The place was pretty tacky and the weather was very cold (unlike the glorious winter weather we are having in Ohio at the moment). I’ve just discovered some of the pictures from this trip on the HP digital camera so I’ve uploaded them to the Blackpool Gallery but they are not that good pictures – does show how cold it was though!
Pictures of Hocking Hills and the Steelers Game are now online – I’ll be editing the descriptions in the near future so you know what is what
Downloaded and played Elf Bowling 2003 – highest score so far is only 127 🙁
