Kristen and I cooked Roast Beef and yorkshire puddings on Saturday from about 3 different recipes but this page has the complete recipe. We’ve not cracked the pudding recipe yet though.
Anyone in the UK can feel free to send us a yorkshire pud baking sheet/tin to help out in this effort to crack the pudding issue!!
We think it’s one of three things: 1.) the pan’s thickness (we’re using just a regular american muffin pan and think it might be too thick); 2.) the two times we’ve made it Andy’s used Pam cooking spray — I reckon it needs to be lard or some sort of oil; and 3.) the temperature of the oil isn’t hot enough — we’re pretty sure it’s this one possibly in combination with one of the other above things!
Next stop — asking a British lady who’s lived here for a couple of decades how she cooks them here in the US (I’ll be seeing her tonight at bible study, so I’ll ask her!).
