I was going to get some tickets to see Phantom of the Opera Tickets at Ohio Theatre but when I saw that they were $215 each I thought better of it. Can’t believe they are so expensive!
Don’t even think of shelling out that much cash unless you’re going to sit in the first five rows. You can see the Phantom running around in the rafters during other scenes, and even though I think live (operas, plays, broadway, whatever) is kinda lame, Phantom at the Ohio Theatre was pretty cool. Although, secretly I was hoping he’d fall.
Andy, unless you just want to use another broker visit Broadway Across America or Ticketmaster. The tickets are MUCH more reasonable there. I did a spot check and they’ve got orchestra seats on the 23rd for $65 per person.
At those pricesI might be tempted to go – if I actually liked Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Incredibly all those seats have sold out and the only one available was for the last showing at $205.
Fortunately Kristen isn’t interested in going – phew.

$215 for Phantom?!?! They weren’t nearly that pricey here on Broadway where I saw it a few times… Sheesh.
