Looney Toons take the mickey out of the Matrix with The Matwix
Finally figured out how to get Mandrake 8.2 to talk across the network via my proxy server and out on the network – now works a treat!
Also installed Universe Personal Edition on it – will not be that much use without SystemBuilder though 🙁
Had to install compress as this wasn’t in the default mandrake install!
Search facility now added to the site and favicon.ico also added to allow proper bookmarking.
hmmm – maybe it wasnt such a good idea to post a graphic in the table!

Also don’t need webwasher as Outpost does the same job, so thats one less app to run on the machine. Also it means I can let eudora use html email and NOT get the graphics in emails – saving a lot of download time when reading emails (and making them secure)
A new day, a new security implementation. I now have Outpost as my firewall – gives me a lot more control than Zonealarm and my internet connection seems stable enough to use it!
Hacksfs has some good links and information about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 which I got on Saturday – managed to land several times on the first flight – but not managed to land on the runway yet!
