there is a new version of MSN Messenger 7 is out as I’ve just had notification that the beta version that I was using was out of date.The build is now 7.0.0429. I can’t find a download location but the previous beta will prompt you to download.

Well I’m not the only one with the -1 error message and the forums seem to suggest that connecting to cscs.msg.yahoo.com:5050 and resetting the password on the web page may do the trick….we’ll see later on when I fire up the laptop.
