First picture uploaded from the new digital camera – Winston is much larger than life – although he has strange green things around his eyes – almost looks like an extra from the Stephen King film Tommyknockers! 350k file!

Following up from the note last weekend – they want people like this to determine peoples legal fate?????
A preview of what next years outlook will look like is now available. Looks quite nice. For more details there is a preview q&a available
Deleted Domains has a free form you can fill in that will let you search the deleted domains that are out there – not bad. I’m a bit wary of what they get out of it though….
Spamnet has been updated to Beta4 (shame that their announcement mailing list didn’t tell me!)
Arggghhhh – someone has sent a spam out on the internet with one of my work’s domains as the from address, so guess where all the bounces are arriving! NOT fun 🙁
Bookcrossing sounds like a neat way of getting rid of old books that you no longer wish to read, but would also be interested in seeing where it goes. You release a book into the wild and then if anyone else picks it up then they go to the bookcrossing place and add their comments etc….Seeing as though I have tons of books, Congleton might well be appearing in the list soon….. Its certainly a unique way of clearing out the bookshelves!
we get some new carpet (or lino to be more exact) in the house today – this time going in the upstairs bathroom and downstairs loo. It will be really funny to watch Sir slipping on the new surface 🙂 Another name we could have for him is AliBaba if you have seen the latest webcam picture!
I can’t believe that the two main headlines on the radio this morning were two new legal turnarounds. The first was to exempt the American armed forces from any war-crimes action whilst involved in a peace keeping mission. Does this include action taken in Afghanistan and such like? Why should they be exempt and no other country. What have they got to hide? Surely the whole point of having war crimes investigations is to investigate what has gone wrong?
The other matter is that some judicial courts in the uk will loose the right to trial by Jury. There are enough miscarriages of justice and incomptencies in the uk courts and now they want to do this, so now just one person decides if another person is guilty or not?
AND they’ve decided to decriminalize cannabis too…..just what is happening to justice? Thats three really weird and mixed up rulings in two days!
Don’t forget to check out the webcam for more pictures of Sir
