Christians and Christmas Trees

In the light of our impending rush toward Christmas, I thought that I would leave you with a link concerning Christians and Christmas trees.

Whatever your particular practice, there is no doubting that Christian people of good conscience fall out over issues such as this. Thankfully, we seem free from such controversy at WHBC, but I thought it valuable to post this link nevertheless.

I have also been re-reading some Christmas Reflections online from last year. I was again stimulated by the reminder that when we speak of Christmas as a family time, the most significant element of that as far as God is concerned is that we rejoice in our part in the family of God.

I hope you find it useful!

Thanks Paul - hope your Christmas is a joyful and blessed time. Give our love to Anna - we miss her and it would be good to see you both sometime soon!

Thanks for the link Danny. I'd not heard arguments against Christmas trees before but it's good to hear the arguments before I get blindsided by a question about it.

Hope you and yours are all doing well, have a good Christmas!
