Christianity in Kerala, India

In the light of the persecution of Christians in India, it was greatly encouraging to read this article reminding readers of the benefits and blessings brought by evangelical Christian missionaries in the 1800's.

We would, perhaps, wish to argue with some of the definitions and statistics cited in the piece, but the point is well made.

Perhaps our own nation would do well to remember how God has blessed and preserved our culture through the influence of the Gospel.

Our slide to relativism, pluralism and 'positive action' toward other faith communities may well tell a different story not many years hence.
