Tomorrow I should be preaching in Kempston Evangelical Church.
However, due to my ongoing, somewhat embarrassing, and extremely frustrating malady, I have had to cancel. It is too far to drive and too much exertion at this point. Apparently I need to rest and 'keep on taking the tablets'.
I am disappointed to miss the opportunity to preach for them, and sad not to be able to renew contact with some good friends.
In order to cheer myself up, I leave you this even funnier joke:
Two hydrogen atoms walk into a bar. One says, 'I think I've lost
an electron.'
The other says 'Are you sure?'
The first says, 'Yes, I'm positive...'
By the way, in case you were even vaguely interested, the previous quotes came from this source. Please don't email me to say how unsound he is - I understand his limitations, but recognise too that he is not completely heretical.
Oh, I have also been helped by this.

"He's a bit negative" some person with a bad sense of humour "quipped".
Posted by: Jon at March 22, 2004 01:47 PMApparently we are cancelled due to the sessions at the Nazarene College. I am sorry because it would be good to get going, but somewhat glad that I don't have to go through the pain barrier!
We are on in a fortnight, I think. Hope you benefit from the conference.
Posted by: pencils at March 21, 2004 05:50 PMSorry to hear that you are still not too well. Will we be seeing you tomorrow evening for the theology class?
