A Hippo on Heat... ?

Flying home took 10 hours. No problem, because there was plenty of entertainment - radio stations and TV channels on tap, recently released movies to be watched, sleep to catch up on...

Perhaps the highlight of the flight was someone getting locked in one of the rear toilets and panicking so much that one of the male stewards had to crowbar them out. Very amusing.

Said farewell to Merv at the airport as he was catching a coach to Cardiff at 10.30am, and I was picking up a coach for Birmingham at 9.30am. Being in close proximity for a month hasn't been too bad - I think I have more quirks than he does. Apparently though, I snore 'like a female hippopotamus on heat' - which makes me wonder just what frame of reference Merv has for comparison ...

Arriving at Liverpool Bus Station at 4.20pm was a time of happy reunions and many hugs 'n' kisses. It is so good to be home!
