Reasonable Faith: Is Life Without God Absurd?

What are you doing on Monday 5th March at 7pm?

You may already have plans. If not, I encourage you to consider attending "Reasonable Faith: Is Life Without God Absurd?", held at Manchester University (Roscoe Bld. Lecture Theatre A, Oxford Rd, M13 9PL) in conjuction with the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship.

This is a free public lecture that is part of a tour of lectures and debates presented by William Lane Craig, and will be a worthwhile event for convinced Christians, uncommited agnostics, and sincere atheists alike. Bill Craig is a clear communicator as well as a fine thinker. He is in great demand across Europe and the USA, yet is largely unknown in the UK. His lectures and debates appeal to sceptics and believers alike and this event in Manchester will be a valuable evening.

Some of his material may be found here.

Steven -

I will have to defer to your greater knowledge on this one I am afraid, although I guess it is difficult for either of us to speak for Prof. Lane.

I'm really sorry you can't make 5th March, as you could have nabbed him afterwards... :) We also could have said hi... maybe next time!

I hear that the debate at Westminster was lively, although I'm told that John Humpries failed to me his usual incisive self on this occasion. It is a shame that Manchester is a lecture and not a debate. We shall see.

I can't make 5th March.

Craig has a well-publicicsed policy of debating people who ahve written books and articles on theism and naturalism.

That is exactly what Jeffery Jay Lowder and Doug Krueger of the Internet Infidels have done.

So when will Craig be debating them?

Craig has already debated Eddie Tabash of the Internet Infidels.

Guess what? Craig doesn't want to go through THAT experience again....

Hello Steven. I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that, or whether your assertion is even correct. Perhaps an opportunity may arise to ask him if you intend to go on the 5th March?

When will William Lane Craig debate Jeffery Jay Lowder or Doug Kreuger, who have written many books and articles on atheism and naturalism?

He has been ducking them for years.
