Cromwell's Midnight over Drogheda
I have never counted myself as a great lover of dogs until the last three years or so. Bitten as a chld, I had a real aversion to dogs of all types. Having been introduced to Chester, the Golden Retriever pup owned by these fine people, my perspective changed.
Pictures of our first dog, Tyndale - named after this man - are elsewhere on this site. Great pedigree, superb temperament, and just a joy to own.
That is why we have now acquired another labrador, a bitch this time. Her name is Cromwell's Midnight over Drogheda... Cromwell for short. She is named after this man.

She's beautiful -- hopefully will be less trouble to train than Tynedale! What does he think of his new sister?
Will they sit in the back garden and have theological debates???
