A Little Hasty
OK - perhaps I was being a little hasty. After a flurry of telephone messages from far flung friends (two), I have decided that I will continue to blog. I just don't want to bore you with trivia if I have nothing much to say - but you don't have to read it, I suppose.
I have now figured out how to upload pictures! Perhaps that will make my blog far more exciting and fun to read. Although I doubt it.
The above picture may explain the pseudonym 'pencils'.

E. Blackadder's dilemma is that he is surrounded by death, despair and dirt. He longs to escape. His only recourse is to behave insanely. The problem, however, is that amidst all-consuming, endemic, and roaring insanity, those who deliberately behave peculiarly actually fit in.
I have great sympathy with him.
