At home to Mr Menopause

How old do you have to be to have a mid-life crisis? I ask simply because I don't want to be starting mine too early, and then find that when I need another one later, I am disallowed. As it happens, the express train carrying mine appears to have arrived whether I approve or not. We appear to be at home to Mr. Menopause.

Andy Korman was a good friend of mine at school. He is now a senior partner in one of the Global 100 law firms in the City after University at Oxford and bar exams in France. Doesn't live in squalor.

Rachael Hamilton-Hague was a good friend in my teens. Living in Florida, married to an airline pilot, with qualifications to practice as a barrister in the UK and a mediator in USA. Spends her spare time sailing off Antigua and the British Virgin Islands.

Dave Whalley was my best man. He is financial director of an accountancy firm in Liverpool - lives on a private estate of numerous acres near Llangollen. I could go on.

Hmmm. Good job I am the recipient of eternal life, adopted into the family of God, privileged to serve a tender Lord, and filled with the riches of Christ and of God.

Otherwise, I would be a tad disappointed.
