Gmail now has the ability to refresh pop mail.

At long last, there is now a 1 click option to retrieve pop3 mail into gmail without having to go into the accounts tab and then refreshing every account. To turn it on, go to the labs and near the bottom is the Refresh Pop Accounts. See the official announcement for more details.
